About Us
We have been trading since 1955 and are in our 3rd generation of the Clements'
family-run business. Working alongside our directors Ray Clements and
daughter Emma are 3 graduated mechanics, one of whom has been with the
company for over 20 years.
Our reputation comes from years of commitment to customer satisfaction which is why our customers come back to us time and time again. We offer all types of mechanical repairs, MOTs and servicing for all makes and models of cars.
If you own a 1940’s car we can still confidently fix your points or dynamo etc. If
you own a current car we can sort out your electronics and engine management systems.
We have been a member of the Retail Motor Industry (RMI) federation for over 25 years.
This requires us to operate within strict standards: a code of practice
with regular monitoring which ensures we offer the very best in customer
care and service.
We are also an RMI QC member which again ensures the highest levels of administration and
procedure resulting in customer satisfaction. So with Baldwins Lane
Service Station you can be assured of one thing - we will look after you
as well as your car!
We are a registered member of the
Good Garage Scheme
. This ensures that we work to a strict code of conduct and
maintain the highest standards. Also, customer feedback is gathered, which can be seen
here.
On the technical side we are a Lucas AutoTECH Centre and hence are able to perform
electronic engine tuning and calibration in a professional and accurate manner.
We are now an accredited Delphi Diesel Specialist Service Centre. This ensures that we have the sophisticated equipment,
training and support necessary to diagnose and maintain modern common rail diesel engines.
Although
qualified, our
technicians are sent away on courses to Delphi, Bosch and others to keep them up to date with the current advances in
technology. We currently have at least 5 computer systems to enable us to communicate with your vehicle's on board
systems.
